Athlete vs Fan
Candy, cakes, pies, fried food, potatoes are some the foods athletes training for the Olympics give up. When an athlete sets their mind to train for the Olympics they have to adjust their entire lifestyle. Their exercise regime changes and they challenge themselves to push past the limits. Why? Because to win in the Olympics will require them to be above the norm.
If it were easy everyone would do it but only those who truly believe in their gifts put in the work to be great. Those who aren’t training for the Olympics have the luxury of indulging a Krispy Kreme doughnut from time to time, and they will be on the sideline watching the athlete win. Which are you, athlete or fan?
IAWIB is here to help you win your personal life Olympics. Every dream in your heart can be manifested if you believe, so let’s get to work. Are you ready to train?
What are you feeding yourself? Is your appetite for instant pleasure greater than your appetite for your dreams? Just like fatty foods manifest on your hips, what you believe manifest in your life. Every time you decide to put money into frivolous things instead of investing in your dreams you are saying I don’t believe my dreams are relevant. You see your life is a manifestation of your beliefs. One can say all day long what they want to do, but only those who truly believe will take action.
If you really believe you were born with purpose nothing could hold you back.
If you really thought you were born to be a millionaire you would study what millionaires do and implement it in your life. Take inventory of your life. What is manifesting? What is showing up on the hips of your dreams?
This process will take the courage to be real with yourself. Until you are able to face the lies you tell yourself you can’t replace them with truth. The desire for it is not the same as believing it. Desires are plentiful but they will never manifest in your life until you believe you can have the things you desire.
- Identify the lies and replace them with truth. How? By asking yourself the hard questions. For example: A woman says to herself I am enough then she is rejected by a guy she likes (not in a relationship with). If she truly believes she is enough she dusts herself off and keeps moving. She has no need to make him a villain or to question who she is. However if she internalizes the rejection and has to demonize him to feel better about herself what does she truly believe.
These are the hard questions I want you to ask yourself. Is your life a true manifestation of what you believe? It’s time to start telling yourself the truth. It’s time to believe!!
